TAG Systems main focus is the Bank and Finance sector. We provide Visa and MC card issuers with card bodies, chip technology, chip embedding, EMV data preparation and personalization.

Card bodies
In 1999 TAG Systems established a Visa- and MC-approved card manufacturing plant in Andorra. TAG Systems Andorra Ltd is today one of the world’s 15 largest producers of banking (Visa/MC) cards with a total capacity of 80 million cards per year.
The factory employs highly-skilled staff and is equipped with the most up-to-date machines, together providing leading-edge technology and innovative designs.

Chip cards
TAG Systems provide our issuers with chip for their EMV cards. We have a large portfolio of EMV chips, ranging from a cost effective Java Static chip to Native EMV chips and Proton Prisma chips in all categories. The Java Static chip uses the benefits of Global Platform but it is personalized on a chip quite similar to a Native product. This gives the best of two worlds with flexibility and low cost. We also provide chip embedding and pre-personalization, as well as an EMV data preparation service where we produce the chip data and security values prior to personalization. This includes key management services with exchange of keys with Visa/MC and the issuer’s host system.

Personalization
TAG Systems personalization bureau is one of Scandinavia's largest banking personalization sites. Our personalization bureau is EMV-platform independent. We provide several Native platforms, Global Platform (both GP and Java Static) and Proton Prisma platform.
